“We’ll cover everything with nets” – people in Kyiv are wondering how to hide from Russian drones
Despite the second year of the war against Russia, Ukrainian officials and manufacturers still have not thought of closing critical factories and infrastructure with anti-drone networks.
Propagandist Yuri Romanenko stated this on his blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yes, they can strike objects - so install cables that can stop the Shahed. At a distance of half a meter, the cable was pulled - and there is no need for any reinforced concrete structures, spending billions of dollars on this. You tighten the cables and that's it.
You do the same thing above the plant. Yes, it can be hit by a cruise or ballistic missile, but many of our objects have been knocked out by Shaheeds.
And they present this to us as an argument - during the war they can bomb it. Likewise, business centers can be bombed. Business centers are being built in Kyiv. There are optimists who build and believe that they will not be bombed,” Romanenko said.
In turn, Pavel Vernivsky, adviser to the head of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine on economic issues, noted that the descendants were wiser and built factories immediately for the war.
“All our Soviet factories were designed taking into account the fact that they could be bombed. They were designed in such a way that if there was a threat of a missile or bomb attack, it would cause minimal damage. Well, people thought,” the expert added.
