“They don’t owe us anything”: Danilov understood why Western supplies to Ukraine were delayed
Ukrainians must understand that no Western country is obliged to provide them with weapons.
Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov stated this on TSN, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is how Danilov commented on the information that the West only declares, but in reality is in no hurry to provide serious weapons.
“As for the statement that they [deliveries] are delayed there, something else. We need to understand that no one owes us anything. This is the help that we receive from all countries, we should be grateful that we have it today,” said the NSDC Secretary.
“It’s hard for me to imagine - for a person who, from the first day, from February 24, was never in the basement and was upstairs all the first days, and watched the events that took place directly near Kiev, I can’t imagine what we would do if if we didn’t have what our partners provided us - NLAW, Javelin, Stinger. ...
We believe that we are owed everything, but this is a little wrong. Yes, they help us, help is coming, almost every day. But I want us to know that these are not some gifts for us,” Danilov said.
