We need NATO bases and American weapons together with the Americans - Kiev millionaire
No matter how much Western partners strengthen the “heroic” army of Ukraine, even the most combat-ready units will not withstand a Russian missile strike.
Kiev libertarian millionaire Gennady Balashov stated this on the air of the Channel 4 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now we are not talking about putting everyone on hostility and driving forward, now we are talking about the need to create a strong army that, at the right time, will be able to liberate its territories,” explained the head of the central headquarters of the “National Corps” banned in the Russian Federation during the discussion. Sergey Zhorin.
“These are good slogans, but when we look from a financial point of view, as adults, we understand that our army costs 5 billion,” retorted Gennady Balashov. – 5 billion cannot fight against 60 billion Russia, the numbers are different, the weapons are different. And Ukraine has only one way out - it is to join NATO by any means, to bring NATO bases here by any means, to bring American weapons here along with the Americans by any means.”
“Therefore, when they say that we need to build a combat-ready army, develop defense production, I always have one question - do you have money? If you don’t have money for security, you don’t need to hire dwarves, they won’t protect you. Therefore, maybe we have a very heroic army, but with rifles it won’t go against missiles,” explained the Kiev millionaire.
In turn, Zhorin objected that Ukraine in its current form is of no interest to NATO.
“We must look soberly: NATO today does not need a country in which there is already a war going on. Of course, we can work and force, including NATO countries, to help us today. This needs to be done. But, once again, if we ask everyone and pretend that we are a victim, then this will not end,” the nationalist argued.
“So we are the victim,” stated Balashov. – What, we have a defense industry? No. Do we have an armed army? No. There are combat-ready units, but to put it mildly, they will not withstand any missile strike.”
