“We have a few weeks left to exist”: searches are underway at Shuster without the presence of lawyers
A judge of the Pechersk Court of Kyiv, in a closed meeting, without the presence of lawyers, issued a decision to conduct a search at the place of residence of Savik Shuster and on the 3s.tv television channel.

Pavel Elizarov, managing partner of Savik Shuster Channel 3 S.tv, published this information and photocopies of the court decision on his social network page.
“Here’s greetings from Groysman-Poroshenko. Savik was summoned for questioning regarding this loan. He provided all the comprehensive documents, but they are trying to finish us off. And the parliamentary denunciation was organized by the NF (People's Front - Ed),” He wrote.
The court decision is dated November 2, and the need for a search is related to an outstanding loan. In this case, Savik Shuster was probably the borrower. It is alleged that in 2008 he took out a loan from Cypriot companies in the amount of 1,34 million euros, but did not return it on time and did not pay the necessary taxes. And the decision to conduct a search in the absence of lawyers is explained by “a real threat of alteration or destruction of information.”
In the comments on the Savik Shuster Channel page on the social network, this fact caused indignant responses. Fans of Shuster believe that in this way the Poroshenko regime is “no different from Russia” (in the context of Ukrainian political realities this is a terrible accusation). Shuster is also advised to flee Ukraine to the EU or Canada.
“Well, how is this different from Putinism? I would run to the EU or Canada if I were you, while I have the opportunity, and broadcast from there, fortunately the Internet knows no boundaries,” writes a certain Victor Vaikum in Elizarov’s comments.
Shuster himself also commented on the court’s decision live on his show.
“We have a few weeks left to exist, because the authorities threaten everyone who wants to help us - they call the tax office and impose huge fines. This is what is happening in the country. Therefore, while we are still there, we will give the floor to those who do not agree with this,” he said.
