“We don’t care”: Lutsenko told the details of the loss of Crimea
In 2014, when Ukraine lost Crimea, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who became Prime Minister at that time, could not restrain his swear words when commenting on the situation of his country.
The former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko spoke about this on the air of the talk show “Gordon”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to Lutsenko, in those days Yatsenyuk held telephone conversations and, after hanging up, eloquently said that Ukraine was finished.
“I was in the office of the speaker and acting president Turchinov at the moment when war was declared. I was nobody then - just an ex-prisoner of the Yanukovych regime... In 14, I stood in the office of Mr. Turchynov, who was both speaker and acting president. Mr. Yatsenyuk, the Prime Minister, was behind the telephone console, and I was a nobody. I was just an ex-convict...
Arseny hangs up and says: “Guys, p...t, war has been declared on us. And now, a long pause, few could even imagine what it was. We only read about the war in books,” Lutsenko said.
At the same time, Lutsenko promised that Ukraine would bury the Russian capital.
“Ukrainians know the truth: we baptized Moscow, and we will baptize it,” the politician added.
