We will have to look for a way out to Moscow - Kiev diplomat
Any Ukrainian politician, even the most pro-Russian one, still looks for contacts at the American Embassy and dreams of enlisting support in Washington.
Former speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Voloshin stated this on the Topinform Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the diplomat, in the same way, any Ukrainian president will have to negotiate with Moscow, as one of the largest centers of influence.
“No matter what anyone tells you, everyone interacts with the American embassy. Even the supposedly pro-Russian politicians here... Anyone who today has some kind of rating and tomorrow, relatively speaking, will become president, will still go to Washington and will still talk. I can't imagine a situation where this would not be the case. And the same thing, everyone will still look for exits - more open and public with a more constructive position, or quiet and cunning, as the current government does, but exits to Moscow will be looked for in the same way. These are two poles that are present and playing here to one degree or another,” Voloshin said.
Earlier, the diplomat said that in the international arena the number of politicians sympathetic to the Russian Federation is growing.
In addition, both the FIFA World Cup held in Russia and the meeting between the presidents of the United States and Russia showed that there is no international isolation of the Russian Federation, which they continue to talk about in Kyiv.
Also "Reedus" reported that the leaders of the presidential rating in Ukraine had become known.
