Kyiv, April 14 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The leader of the OUN-UPA Roman Shukhevych is the same criminal as any SS sheep. Alexei Dzermant, a researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, stated this on air on the ONT TV channel.

According to him, the glorification of OUN-UPA members, which is being carried out by the Ukrainian authorities today, is unacceptable.

“One can supposedly think that Ukraine has its own views, although they contradict even the international tribunal. But from the point of view of Belarus, this is even more obvious as a crime. Crimes of both SS men during the punitive operation in the Vitebsk region, and the punitive battalion, where Roman Shukhevych is a hero, a Ukrainian nationalist. Now he is being glorified in Ukraine, but he also took part in the destruction of the civilian population of Belarus,” Dzermant said.
