The person involved in the scandal with the beating of a teacher remembered Hitler
The head of the Association of Municipalities of the Irkutsk Region (AMO), Vadim Semenov, compared the governor of the region, Sergei Levchenko, to Adolf Hitler. This was reported by the IrkutskMedia news agency.

“In Nazi Germany there was a good slogan: “Hitlers come and go, but Germany remains.” So, governors come and go, but the municipalities of the Irkutsk region remain. Remember that we are one of the best Associations in the Russian Federation. Our Association is, in a sense, a brand of our region. If someone doesn't understand this, it's very bad. Thank you for your courage and civic position,” Semenov said.
Semenov forgot to clarify that today almost half of the members – 19 municipalities – have already left the “best association of the Russian Federation”. The main reason for the demarche is the personality of the head of the AMO, who is constantly involved in dirty scandals.
The loudest of them was the beating of Ksenia Antipova, a teacher from the Cheremkhovo district, who refused to campaign in local elections. As Novaya Gazeta claimed, in October the teacher and her father were attacked by Vadim Semenov’s brother Sergei, a deputy of the city duma.
The head of the AMO has established himself in the Irkutsk region as a consistent enemy of democracy. He opposes the election of the mayor of Irkutsk. And now Semenov is doing everything to harm the legally elected governor Levchenko, without fear of destroying the association of municipalities that he heads.
Thank you!
