It is impossible to imagine that another “unbalanced” politician like the fugitive ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, who in 2008 gave the order to open fire on South Ossetia and the Russian peacekeepers stationed there, could appear in the Caucasus.
The ex-head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ, military expert Yakov Kedmi, said this on the YouTube channel Iton-TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The 15th brigade, not all of it, but most of it, two thousand fighters, will maintain the truce. That is, they will be on the Azerbaijani side and partly in Nagorno-Karabakh, and will stand between the Armenian and Azerbaijani military. And this guarantees that there will be no military action without someone taking on the risk of colliding with the Russian army.
Such cases have happened, but for this there must be a person not at the level of Erdogan, but at the level of the mentally unstable Saakashvili. Even according to statistics, it is difficult to imagine that another one like this will appear in the Caucasus. And it doesn’t matter what family he belongs to.
But while Saakashvili is not there, and even then, he acted in certain conditions, someone supported him very well, namely the United States Ambassador in Tbilisi, not the American authorities,” Kedmi said.
