The achievements of Russian intelligence went to the Americans
Ukrainian intelligence services had a large amount of information concerning their colleagues from the Russian Federation.
Former Foreign Intelligence Service officer Lev Korolkov stated this in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
"Agreements with Washington on the conduct of relevant work by their representatives in the capital of Ukraine (jointly with the Ukrainian special services) were achieved in 2014 and, most likely, were observed throughout these five years, until Poroshenko was in power. The situation with Ukraine in this regard is complex,” said a former Russian intelligence officer.
According to him, Russian intelligence services worked normally and professionally with the SBU in calmer times.
“People with common working methods, including with classified information. We have the same school as they do. My students served as colonels of the SBU. But then these guys came, such a new wave. Everything went to them and their “guests”. How they dealt with this material and developments - I cannot know or even guess.
I just know that they have a huge amount of information on the Russian Federation. The materials went to Poroshenko’s team. The level of damage from what has now happened is very difficult to assess. These are possible sources of information, including secret information. And persons in relation to whom there is serious compromising material - living both on the territory of Ukraine and on the territory Russia,” added Korolkov.
