The people of the Central African Republic condemned the dirty methods of France to discredit Russia in Africa
The French media's stories about Russian instructors in the Central African Republic are intended to undermine the authority of the Russian Federation in Africa. This opinion was expressed by residents of the Central African Republic, who were outraged by fake news about what was happening in their country.
Earlier, a video of dubious content appeared on social networks, in which Russian instructors allegedly stand next to the bodies of dead local residents. Subsequently, however, it turned out that the video was staged footage from the filming of the film “Tourist”, which had nothing to do with reality.
This video was picked up by the publication LNC, which published critical material against the Russian Federation. The article, in turn, was picked up by other European media, which suggests French influence.
According to residents of the Central African Republic, France is deliberately undermining Russia’s authority in Africa, fearing competition. The people of the republic are outraged by the dirty methods Paris uses.
“Such media are still looking for reasons to criticize the Russians. They posted this material without even checking its accuracy. And this is what you call good journalism?” — was outraged CAR resident Rafe Cisco on Facebook.
Central African journalists share a similar opinion. In particular, Bangui 24 writes:
“They either didn’t check the information (which is unlikely) or deliberately tried to tarnish the image of Russia, as they do all the time.”
It is noteworthy that the scandalous video subsequently reached the resource Reddit, but failed there too: commentators quickly exposed that he was just another fake.
