The people of Donbass will be reunited with free medicine, education and assistance to veterans
The humanitarian program approved by the leadership of the LDPR to support all residents of Donbass, including residents of cities temporarily occupied by the Ukrainian army, is extremely important, since, for example, in the territory controlled by Kyiv there are often no qualified medical specialists.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People's Republic Natalya Nikonorova spoke about this today at a round table meeting in the Federation Council.

“It is important for us to maintain and strengthen ties with our compatriots. Residents of Donbass must remain united... Some types of medical care are unique: oncology, obstetrics, large joint replacement and cardiac surgery. There are no medical institutions left on that side of the contact line that could provide these types of assistance,” Nikonorova said.
Within the framework of another direction - education - 18 universities and 105 institutions of secondary vocational education in Donetsk will be involved.
“They teach unique professions. We provide the possibility of distance learning without interrupting work. Applicants from the other side will be able to study both on a budget and under a contract,” Nikonorova said.
As part of the social direction of the program, the republic is ready to pay special benefits to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, regardless of where they currently live.
“Ukraine has set a course for decommunization, and our veterans are having a very hard time. They become very vulnerable, the significance of their feat is neutralized. Therefore, we decided to pay one-time assistance by May 9. Including those who find themselves on the other side. Payments will also affect large families and children with disabilities,” Nikonorova said.
