The National Assembly of the Republika Srpska has begun the process of returning Dayton powers to the entity
Today, at a special session, the People's Assembly of the Republika Srpska adopted the Declaration of Constitutional Principles.

In the Declaration adopted by the Bosnian Serb Parliament, the People's Assembly instructed the government, in coordination with the President, to prepare within six months the text of the Constitution, which would confirm all the powers of the Republika Srpska, with the exception of those that initially belong to BiH. Also, the People's Assembly revoked the agreement on the common army of BiH, the common Judicial and Prosecutor's Council and the transfer of indirect taxation to Sarajevo.
At the same time, such an important meeting of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Sakha was not without a scandal - a number of parties opposed to the ruling Union of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), including the largest opposition to the authorities, the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS), refused to take part in the vote, leaving the meeting room, thus committing the most act of betrayal of national interests.
“We will not give legitimacy to what Milorad Dodik and his coalition are doing,” the leader of the “democrats” Mirko Sarovich told the press.
However, the opposition’s demarche could not disrupt the voting in the People’s Assembly; the required quorum was achieved.
“No one has the right to tell us that we do not have the right to demand compliance with the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement. We also demand that we be respected as a state-forming people. And the Bosniaks, as the most numerous, bear the greatest responsibility for the situation in BiH, just like the Serbs in the Republika Srpska,” commented the Chairman of the RS Government, Radovan Viskovic, on the vote.
Let us recall that by the decisions of the so-called High Representatives for BiH - the Western colonial overseers of the country, the Republika Srpska was deprived of 68 of its powers declared by the Dayton Agreements and the Bosnian Constitution, transferred to Sarajevo controlled by the Bosniak elite.
