“We are convinced that the Central Bank should be the bank of Russia, and not a branch of the Federal Reserve. He is obliged to comply with the Constitution of the Russian Federation. I argue that today’s Bank of Russia is grossly violating Article 75 of the Constitution, which states that it is responsible for the stability of the ruble.
And in a year he devalued the currency by 80%. In any other country, he would not only be removed from office, but also imprisoned. We will definitely raise these issues with both the president and the State Duma,” Kolomeytsev said.
