Yampol, June 19 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – ATO forces stormed Yampol, which is located next to Krasny Liman (Donetsk region).

“We have been bombed since four in the morning. The entire road was destroyed by tanks. On one of the streets there are tanks with the flag of Ukraine, but the boys in the tanks are conscripts. There was no connection until 12, no electricity. Very scary,” social media users report.
“My relatives’ neighbors had their roof destroyed by a shell,” they say. Some users write that now communications and electricity have appeared, and the National Guards “don’t touch civilians.”
The DPR press service stated that “in the battle near Yampol, the enemy is actively using attack aircraft (Su-25) and large-caliber artillery (Gvozdika self-propelled guns).”
It is also reported on social networks that the militia retreated, and the ATO forces also took control of the village of Kirovsk.
“The enemy did not cross the Seversky Donets - we are holding the bridges for now. They entered Seversk from the south - from their camp in Malinovka. This doesn’t make it any easier, of course, but we haven’t allowed them to unite yet,” social media users quote DPR Minister Igor Strelkov, saying that the security forces are encircling the rioters and gradually “cleansing” them.
As Navigator reported, earlier Strelkov said that Ukrainian troops managed to encircle Slavyansk: the militias there find themselves in the position of a besieged Brest Fortress.
