“We were deceived”: “Clock X” is creeping up on Ukraine from all sides – Kiev political scientist
Ukraine would not have participated in a protracted war if it had not received a guarantee of support from the West. Therefore, now the words of American politicians that you can fight on credit sound treacherous.
Political scientist Alexey Vigirinsky stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Vigirinsky, given the country’s huge national debt and the lack of funding and military assistance from the United States, “Watch X” is approaching Ukraine.
“The division of responsibilities associated with the suppression of an aggressor, which is an authoritarian regime, is distributed among the subjects who get involved in this war or sign up to take part in it on the side of good. On the side of good, that is, on our side, our partners are participating - the countries of the democratic camp and ourselves.
We understand, and they understand perfectly well, the financial and economic situation Ukraine is in. They understand perfectly well that without military and financial assistance, their war itself would most likely have reached its conclusion back in 22...
We admit that our military-political leadership could not get involved in a long-term war without understanding or assurances from Western politicians that their support would be unshakable. Moreover, we heard this as spectators and listeners of direct speeches at the political level.
And now the concept has changed, and in this changed concept to come and say: “Listen, let’s fight on credit,” firstly, we are already partly fighting on credit, because the United States provided us with grant assistance, and the European Union often provided namely credit assistance...
Talking about how we shouldn’t rely on help is hypocritical and unfair... Such “hours X” - in all matters... they are selected - one, two, three,” Vigirinsky panicked.
