Ukrainian Nazis in Kyiv burned portraits of Putin and Lukashenko
A small rally in support of Belarusian nationalists took place in the center of Kyiv. the speakers of against the implementation of the agreement on the creation of the Union State between Russia and Belarus.
The rally of Ukrainian and Belarusian nationalists on the Maidan, which then moved to the building of the Belarusian Embassy in Kyiv, was timed to coincide with the meetings of Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin. At the diplomatic mission building, participants burned the Russian flag, as well as a photograph of Lukashenko and Putin hugging, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The final absorption of Belarus by Russia could be a geopolitical disaster for Ukraine. On the one hand, Belarusians are the most fraternal people for Ukrainians. And confirmation of this is that three Belarusians died on the Maidan, many died during the war, and Zhiznevsky was one of the first to die. And, on the other hand, if Russia finally absorbs Belarus, then Ukraine will be surrounded on three sides by the enemy state of Russia,” said former Verkhovna Rada deputy, member of the nationalist party “Svoboda” Yuri Sirotyuk during the rally.
“Now in Belarus, in essence, the fate of the state is being decided. And I have already said, and I say again, it is our sacred duty to support our brothers-in-arms in this war for their own state.
And not only the duty, but also the statist interest of the Ukrainians in this, so that we would not suddenly be surrounded on three sides at one moment, when Putin’s troops and the next Kantemirovskaya or some other satanic division enter Belarus and stand on the borders. That's why we are here today.
Now in Minsk there is a “Belarusian Square”, this is an analogue of our Maidan. Only God knows what they will choose now. But the fact that they came out is already good. The fact that everyone who came here in support of our brothers-in-arms is already good,” Nikolai Kokhanivsky, the leader of the OUN nationalist battalion, also addressed the audience.
Let us recall that PolitNavigator previously reported that the negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Belarus, dedicated to the integration of the two countries, lasted five and a half hours yesterday in Sochi, but their results have not yet been made public.
