“We are being forced to a truce” - Danilov
The conflict in Ukraine is entering a new stage of intensification.
Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov stated this on the 1+1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Danilov, “Russian closed, behind-the-scenes diplomacy intensified in December.”
“Mr. Kozak today goes to meetings with politicians of past times in Europe, and through them conveys messages that they are ready to make many concessions in order to fix the status quo that exists today, and thus force us to we concluded some kind of truce,” the official said.
“There is a situation related to the following: in February, 15-19, there will be a Munich Security Conference, to which Russians are not invited at all. On February 23-24 there will be events in New York, at the UN Assembly. And there are many such markers.
An institute called the Red Cross became active. Before this, they calmly watched how thousands of people were being killed in our country, but now they want to know what kind of shells our soldiers use, and have become concerned about this issue. There are a lot of such markers from which we can conclude that we are entering a certain phase of activation,” said Danilov.
