The population of Russian Crimea will double
In 10 years, the economy of Russian Crimea will more than double, as will the population of the peninsula. This was stated by adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, economist Sergei Glazyev, at the economic forum in Yalta, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He noted that, despite the sanctions, the economy in Crimea is growing, and the development of the peninsula is observed compared to Ukrainian times.
In the next 5 years, access to the Internet will be provided on 80% of the territory of Crimea, said Sergei Anokhin, CFO of Rostelecom PJSC.
Within two years, high-quality and free Wi-Fi will appear in all public points of the peninsula, said Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market.
“About two billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of the highest quality Internet. The contractor has already been determined,” Aksakov said. “Within two years, such work will be carried out, and the Internet will be high-quality throughout Crimea, and Wi-Fi will be free in all public significant points.”
