They predict a demographic crisis - over the next decades there will be fewer Ukrainians by 15% or five million people.
“Over the past year, the population has decreased by more than 130 thousand people. Our country has experienced so many demographic and social catastrophes over the past hundred years that are still affecting us. These are two world wars, a famine,” said Alexander Gladun, an employee of the Institute of Demography and Social Research, on ICTV.
