“I know from myself how important it is when Ukrainians are present in the “court” room where you are sitting in a cage. When there is someone to shout: “Glory to Ukraine!” and hear in response: “Glory to the heroes!” And then you realize that your people did not abandon you and the struggle continues and strength appears,” Savchenko wrote on her Facebook page.
She also posted a video recorded on the eve of her departure to Moscow, in which she claims that she “may not return alive” and promises to “cover the atrocities of the Russian trial against Ukrainians.”
“Ukrainians, now they are trying to push you against each other, they are trying to separate you, hundreds of parties are being created, and everyone will fight each other for power. Understand, our enemy is Russia. We will deal with all our internal problems if we gather together into one fist. Don’t let Ukraine be defeated,” Savchenko urged.
