The General Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office proposes to ask for the lifting of immunity from the Radical Party deputy Igor Mosiychuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. citing on Kapital.ua.
“Yes, the Prosecutor General’s Office received a report from the SAP against People’s Deputy Mosiychuk,” the Prosecutor General’s press secretary Larisa Sargan told reporters.
“The Prosecutor General handed over the document to the legal support department for analysis,” she clarified.
“After the management’s conclusions, a decision will be made on the further fate of the proposal - either it is signed and transferred to the Verkhovna Rada, or returned to SAP for revision,” Sargan noted.
Earlier, Ukrainian media, citing sources, reported that the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office submitted a report against Mosiychuk to the Prosecutor General's Office, but Nazar Kholodnitsky did not comment on this.
