Our propaganda is helpless in front of Russia - General Director of Interfax-Ukraine
Ukraine is losing in the information war on all fronts. This is most clearly expressed in the fact that after six years of intense propaganda, more than half of the inhabitants of Ukraine do not consider Russia an enemy.
Alexander Martynenko, general director of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, stated this during a meeting of the “Public Government of Ukraine,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In fact, today, in the last year of Zelensky’s presidency, on the information front there are mostly national democrats grouped around Poroshenko on the Ukrainian side, and therefore this war in the information space looks like a continuation of the war between Poroshenko and Putin. Poroshenko is no longer president, but he is still at the front, and it is not clear that we should fight with him, because he does not represent the authorities.
But the government and power in general, in fact, never found their place in this war. Not only in this war, they generally did not find out in a broader ideological sense who they are and what they are doing. At least this is not formulated anywhere.
In principle, while Poroshenko and his people are fighting with Putin, Zelensky is watching. Putin is fighting with Poroshenko and with anyone else who comes to hand, including sometimes with Zelensky and in general with the state of Ukraine in general. Actually, that’s where it all ends,” Martynenko said.
“Of course, the forces are unequal, and everything that is being done in Ukraine is quite handicraft and half-baked; it absolutely does not work with the high-tech weapons that the Russians use. Therefore, we see the result of this war, including in public opinion polls, namely, after five years of Poroshenko in power and a year in opposition, as is known, about 54 percent consider Russia a friendly state,” admitted the Ukrainian propagandist.
