Our theaters still stage Chekhov - the horror of the Ukrainian producer
Kiev producer Alexander Yagolnik is upset - Ukrainian propaganda has not yet penetrated the theatrical sphere, and directors do not stage plays about the so-called “ATO”, preferring the classics of Russian literature.

The producer stated this on air on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t remember a single patriotic organization in Ukraine that would now put cultural and humanitarian issues on its agenda... I remember that now in the Ukrainian theater there is not a single modern play about the army, about modern life - with us again everything is like was: Chekhov and everything that was in the Soviet Union, it all exists again. The decisiveness of the parliament is needed in order to somehow move this system and humanitarian issues forward and then Ukraine will win,” Yagolnik believes.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian writer Yuri Andrukhovchi urged the West not to be delighted classics of Russian literature, whom he called mediocrities and reactionaries.
