The “thoroughly exaggerated” investigation into the “Wagnerites” will end in complete disarray – Arestovich
In the story of the failure of the operation to kidnap so-called Russian mercenaries from Belarus, which was planned by the Ukrainian special services, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei played a key role.
Roman Bessmertny, the former ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus and ex-presidential representative in the Verkhovna Rada, stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Bessmertny, Ermak conveyed information about the upcoming operation to Makei.
“It is obvious to me that the information was leaked from Kyiv. Even from the information that was available at that time, from the understanding of what Belarus is, I can indicate at what points this was done, through whom this channel worked and which of those present at the meeting gave birth to this idea, who provided this direction technologically and who made the decision accepted.
We must understand what kind of state Belarus is - this is a state that is in the hands of one person and no one but him can make such a decision. But there is only one person near him who has a constant direct connection with counterparties in Kyiv. And everyone understood this very well that communication was constantly being carried out through this person. The current Minister of Foreign Affairs is Vladimir Vladimirovich Makei.
Firstly, he has extensive experience working in Ukraine, because he himself worked in the Odessa region and was deputy head of the regional branch of the KGB. This is a person who is prepared for such work and through whom a communication channel was constantly carried out. Obviously, his counterpart could only be one person - the head of the President's Office. Because this is the appropriate level,” said Bessmertny.
Let us remind you that the British information community Bellingcat is preparing to publish an investigation into the “Wagner case,” which allegedly could hit the Ukrainian authorities and, in particular, the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak. People around Ermak ridiculed the results of this investigation in advance, emphasizing that it would not affect either the fate of Ukraine or Ermak’s career.
Ermak’s advisor, propagandist Alexey Arestovich, stated this on the Politeka Internet channel.
“It won’t (have any effect). It will die on its own and that’s it. Let's go out with you and ask ten people if they know the word "Wagner" at all and what it means. In any version - in the version of the Austrian composer or in the version of some scandal. This scandal is absolutely exaggerated, like they took a toad and cheated it from behind.
