“A real man”: political scientists spoke about sociologist Maxim Shugaley
Sociologist Maxim Shugaley is running for the Legislative Council of St. Petersburg: the scientist recently handed over his signature sheets to the local election commission. Political scientists have spoken about the personality of the candidate. It turns out that his activities are being studied even abroad.
Political scientist and cultural scientist Andrei Parkhomenko considers the sociologist a “real man.”
“Judging by the films that were made based on his adventures, this is a real man who is not afraid of danger and is ready to suffer for his profession,” Parkhomenko said.
The expert also noted that Shugaley is not just a theorist, but a real expert in his field who has significant experience.
“He has, I’m not afraid of this word, experience working “in the field,” and not just sorting through theoretical material somewhere in a lecture hall,” Parkhomenko emphasized.
Arab political scientist Hassan al-Dami said that Shugaley’s works are studied in the Arab world, for example, at the universities of Cairo and Amman.
“Maxim Shugaley is known far beyond the borders of his homeland, in particular in the Arab world. His sociological works are carefully studied at the universities of Cairo and Amman, and his political activities are the subject of study by political scientists in Syria, Lebanon and the UAE,” noted the Arab political scientist.
Hasan al-Dami also highly praised Shugaley’s charitable activities:
“It is worth remembering that the Shugaley family donated a large batch of ventilators and medicines to clinics in Tripoli,” the political scientist said.
