The participation of residents of the LDPR in the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Federation is a key point in the integration of Donbass into Russian politics.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a rally of supporters of the United Russia party in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our struggle, our work has borne fruit. We all dreamed of becoming part of Russia, and today we can state that we have become much, much closer to our Great Motherland. I see in the hall those who organized the Referendum in 2014, we defended our choice at the front and in peaceful life, and all the time we were supported by Russia, our Great and Great Motherland. And today, like all these years, we want to confirm our belonging to the Russian world, to the Russian people,” said the head of the DPR.
“In the near future, we will have the opportunity to once again show that we are truly Russia, and our participation in the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the Russian Federation is a key point in the integration of Donbass into Russian politics. This is a statement to the whole world. There are Russian citizens living in the Donbass, we elect power in our country, like all its citizens from the Black to the White Seas, from the Kuril Islands to Kaliningrad,” Pushilin said.
