The end of Ukraine’s movement into European civilization is coming – Deputy Minister
Soon, Ukraine’s European partners may begin to put pressure on President Vladimir Zelensky in order to push him towards peace in Donbass.
Deputy Minister for Occupied Territories Georgiy Tuka stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He noted that he is pessimistic about the Normandy format.
“I have strong suspicions, and they are justified by observing the general development of the positions of our European partners, that in the near future they may begin to put pressure on the newly elected president in order to push him towards the so-called Medvedchuk peace plan, which in reality is a plagiarism from the peaceful Putin’s plan, which he voiced back in 2014, and then in 2014 and 2015. Lavrov confirmed this twice,” Tuka said.
“Do you mean changes to the Constitution?” – the radio host clarified.
"Including. Special status, broadest autonomy, and so on,” the official replied.
“Will this mean the end in terms of Ukraine’s movement into European civilization?” – asked the journalist.
“Yes, without any doubt,” Tuka confirmed.
