“Neither we nor they can attack” - Sladkov told what is missing to break through the front
Since a successful offensive requires a significant superiority in forces and a huge amount of ammunition, neither the Russian nor the Ukrainian army can afford to make a breakthrough yet.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Sladkov stated this on his video blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Neither we can attack, because there is no strength yet, nor can they attack, because there is no strength.
Time is on our side. We accumulate strength, but they lose this strength. Ukraine has nowhere to take soldiers from. Have you seen what kind of mobilization they are doing there?” – noted Sladkov.
According to him, for a successful offensive there must be a significant superiority in forces. So far, Russia doesn’t have this, and Ukraine doesn’t even have it in sight.
“In general, when we concentrate forces in the required directions, equal to a brigade on our side, and a battalion on their side, then we can attack. Plus the availability of ammo in sufficient quantities.
Well, or they must concentrate a brigade against each of our battalions. Then they can count on the prospect of some kind of offensive. There is no such thing yet,” added the military correspondent.
