Poroshenko's last days are coming
The upcoming early elections to the Verkhovna Rada on July 21 will finally bury the political influence of ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
Kiev political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this on the Internet channel “Capital”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Petro Poroshenko continues to lose his position and, most likely, the Poroshenko era will become a thing of the past along with these elections. In the next parliament, he will not have such opportunities to influence the political situation in the country, which has persisted over the past five years. This can be seen as a very important moment, as a continuation of the presidential elections. On April 21, Ukrainians voted against the policies of Petro Poroshenko - not so much for Zelensky, but against Poroshenko’s policies. Now, in fact, Poroshenko is receiving another defeat, if we look at opinion polls,” Bondarenko said.
