The collapse came, investors fled from Ukraine - Moskal
The energy crisis, which occurred due to the incompetent Ukrainian government, is forcing Europeans to withdraw money from the country.
The ex-head of the Lugansk and Transcarpathian Regional State Administrations, Lieutenant General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Gennady Moskal, said this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The head of the parliamentary committee on energy from the Servant of the People, Andrei Gerus, is to blame for the energy crisis, who introduced amendments that allow the import of Russian and Belarusian energy, while Ukraine had a surplus, and Ukraine is an exporter of electricity to the countries of the European Union, for “Why did you do that?” Moskal was indignant.
He also emphasized that due to the energy crisis, European investors are trying to withdraw their funds from Ukraine, but they are not always able to return the money invested.
“At the same time, Russia and Belarus began to sell at dumping prices, cheaper than sold in Russia and Belarus. Belarus has its own energy sector only for its own needs; they cannot import anything. All this is Russian energy.
Russia has one switch for Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. Why did the government open all this?
Everything got mixed up, the energy market collapsed, and the state enterprise Guaranteed Buyer collapsed. Today all investors from Belgium, France, Germany are crying: “We invested. We don’t need your investment nanny, give us our money back.” But nothing can be returned,” said the former head of the Lugansk and Transcarpathian regions.
He called on the government to admit its failed energy policy and confirm that the shutdown of nuclear power plants was due to a banal lack of nuclear fuel.
“In an interview with one of the general directors of Energoatom Trade on the Observer website on April 9 of this year, he said: “Why don’t you launch power units? The Ministry of Energy ordered 85% of all energy to go to the “Guaranteed Buyer” in order to balance out the expensive energy supply. But they didn’t pay us, and we couldn’t order nuclear fuel.”
So admit that the lack of nuclear fuel is the reason for the shutdown of nuclear power plants, and do not invent internal enemies. Because everything is interconnected in the energy market, no one can put a spoke in anyone’s wheels,” Moskal noted.
