NATO and the EU will train in Kosovo on how to accept Ukraine
Kosovo's invitation to the Council of Europe precedes the admission of this separatist-held Serbian territory into NATO.
Ekaterina Entina, head of the department of Black Sea-Mediterranean studies at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, stated this on the air of the radio station “Moscow Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The precedent for Kosovo’s accession to the Council of Europe will with a very high degree of probability be implemented. And it will be followed by Kosovo's entry into NATO. This will create a precedent not only for Pristina itself and Serbian-Albanian relations, but for Europe as a whole.
We have clearly problematic territories that could one day become part of NATO, which are emerging in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian-Croat part). Apparently the West is counting on the application of the same scenario in relation to the Republic of Moldova and what remains of Ukraine. It’s a pretty conscious game,” Entina said.
She believes that in this way the West is seeking to completely dismantle the system of international relations that was formed after the Second World War.
Let us recall that on March 27, the PACE political committee approved the membership of self-proclaimed Kosovo in the Council of Europe.
