The heads of the NATO foreign ministries yesterday called on Russia to “provide clear evidence of its commitment to Poroshenko’s plan.”

The list of main demands was announced by British Foreign Secretary William Hague. According to him, Russia must “stop the flow of weapons across the border and stop supporting illegal armed separatists in eastern Ukraine.” “Otherwise, stronger sanctions will be imposed against Russia,” he warned.

“All ministers agreed that Russia bears responsibility for what is happening in eastern Ukraine. Moscow is using a whole range of tools - from forceful intervention and military exercises to economic pressure and cyber attacks,” a source in Brussels told Kommersant.

Let us recall that yesterday, an expert close to the White House, Ariel Cohen, told Kommersant that the United States could recognize the Russian status of Crimea in exchange for Moscow’s complete capitulation in the Ukrainian direction.
