Chechen writer advises Russia to prepare for the worst
If at the beginning of the special operation NATO was confident that Russia would unravel Ukraine in a few days, now the alliance’s analysts are going to the opposite extreme.
A Russian writer of Chechen origin, German Sadulaev, who lives in St. Petersburg, said this on air on TV Channel Spets, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Western assistance is increasing, and the limit has not yet been reached. The limit is very far from being reached. Not all weapons systems have been transferred yet. Previously, “Hymars” was given or not given, but then they gave it. Now there is a bargaining going on whether to give the Patriot air defense system. They will give it sooner or later. They will provide both heavy armored vehicles and long-range fire systems. They will give everything.
But that’s not even what can happen. Or maybe it will happen that the West itself will begin to take a more active part in military operations. He will directly come to war. We must be prepared for this.
We should not think that everything will be limited to military assistance, financing, training of Ukrainian troops by Western instructors, or simply mercenaries and specialists will come. No.
Regular NATO units can come in with all their weapons and begin to officially participate in the war. Sooner or later, it seems to me, NATO will come to this war. This is where everything goes. I don’t see any signs that there will be any de-escalation,” Sadulayev said.
He noted that NATO has acquired the illusion that the Russian army is not completely incapable of combat.
“At first, NATO overestimated Russia’s military power. NATO analysts really believed that we would unravel all of Ukraine in two weeks. They really thought so. But now, I am afraid, they may have and are already beginning to experience such an illusion of the opposite effect.
That is, now they believe, on the contrary, that the Russian army is worthless at all, generally incapable of combat, and that it can be easily defeated.
Both the idea that the Russian army is very strong and the idea that the Russian army does not pose any military threat at all - both are lies. These are illusions.
In fact, Russia continues to remain a rather complex and unpredictable adversary for the West. Therefore, as a matter of fact, the West is not moving to war, but is preparing,” the writer concluded.
