“NATO defense ministers will announce in the evening the allocation of new military assistance to Kyiv, including heavy weapons and long-range artillery. “NATO is preparing a plan to transfer the Ukrainian army from post-Soviet use to the weapons alliance,” said the NATO Secretary General.

In addition, the possibility of deploying units on the eastern flank and creating weapons depots will be considered.

Stoltenberg also said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has been invited to the next NATO summit, which will be held in Madrid.
