NATO is trying to provoke a revolt in the Russian army
NATO is trying to provoke disintegration and rebellion in the Russian army, creating an atmosphere similar to that of the armed forces of the Russian Empire in 1916.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke about this in an interview with the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They climb completely unceremoniously and shamelessly. An army is an army. If you dive into history, the collapse of many states began with the collapse of the army.
We have special forces units that conduct special operations. In these operations, it happens that guys get wounded and die, just like in other units.
And just imagine that some people, on orders from abroad, begin to interfere with their families and enter cemeteries. Attempts to penetrate into our communication networks number in the hundreds every day.
In the same mode, fake news about our ministry and the Armed Forces is being thrown into the information space of our country and the whole world. Either we allegedly attacked a hospital, or we are allegedly preparing to seize one country or another. Either dozens of coffins arrived somewhere, or someone from the authorities, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense did something there.
All this is psychological pressure on military personnel. We have already talked about hybrid wars. This is one of the tools of hybrid wars, one of the types of weapons used against us.
For example, a NATO Center of Excellence in the field of computer security was created in Tallinn, and a NATO Strategic Communications Center operates in Riga.
The point of such actions is to try to create in the army sentiments similar to those that existed, say, in the army of 1916. This requires the most energetic opposition,” Shoigu said.
