NATO is pushing Ukraine into war with Russia
The group of NATO ships sent to the Black Sea is intended to provide moral support to the Kyiv regime.
Military expert Alexei Valyuzhenich stated this, as a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
He recalled that Kyiv continues to transfer military units and additional equipment to Donbass.
“But Ukraine has not yet decided on a full-scale war. Largely out of fear of a possible backlash. They constantly repeat that they are fighting with Russian troops. If you repeat a lie many times, sooner or later you will believe it. Therefore, they seriously fear the response of the “Russian troops.” Because it’s one thing to win on the Internet, and another thing to fight for real. And it is fundamentally important for the United States to show Kyiv: you are not alone. Advance, they say, and I’ll cover you from the rear,” says Valyuzhenich.
According to him, the most powerful firepower in the NATO group is possessed by the American Ticonderoga series cruiser, which carries on board 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles and 15 anti-submarine missiles.
“The destroyer that came with him is a newer ship, it is also armed with Tomahawks, but its main weapon is torpedoes. Together with the allied ships, the Americans have a powerful combat squadron. By the way, the last time such large NATO forces gathered in the Black Sea was in August 2008 - for moral support of Saakashvili in Georgia. Then they collected 18 ships and vessels. They pushed Georgia into war, and then left it alone with Russia. Kyiv should remember this story,” the expert concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, the NATO squadron will stay in the Black Sea until March 29, what has already inspired us in Ukraine.
