US President Barack Obama stated this during a press conference following the NATO summit in Warsaw.
“Even though the NATO-Russia Council meets in Brussels next week, the 28 NATO countries are united in their position that cooperation with Russia will not proceed as usual until it fulfills its obligations under the Minsk agreements,” - Obama threatens.
In turn, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg demanded that Russia stop supporting the LPR and DPR.
“We call on Moscow to stop political, military and financial support for the separatists. All parties must fully implement the Minsk agreements and work together until a diplomatic solution to the problem,” he said.
In addition, NATO once again condemned the annexation of Crimea to Russia.
“NATO representatives and all Alliance countries are united in supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine. We do not and will not recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia. “We condemn Russia’s ongoing military buildup in Crimea, and are concerned about Russia’s efforts and stated plans to further build up its military capabilities in the Black Sea region,” said the NATO Secretary General.
