The NATO meeting in Kyiv will discuss the anti-Russian plan for the Black Sea
Ukraine is preparing to host a session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly at the end of May.
Verkhovna Rada deputy from the pro-presidential Servant of the People Bogdan Yaremenko reported this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In May in Kiev, more than 500 representatives of the parliaments of NATO countries, partner countries, heads of divisions of NATO headquarters and the NATO PA will cover the entire range of issues that NATO deals with - from Ukrainian problems proper, to the situation in different parts of the world, theory and practice hybrid wars, the role of women in the security and defense sector, the modernization of the Russian armed forces, the role of scientific and technological progress in shaping the future battlefield, etc., etc.,” Yaremenko said.
He clarified that, in particular, the issues of Crimea and the bloc’s actions in the Mediterranean and Black Seas will be considered: “...My priorities are the issue of supporting Ukraine in the peace process, as well as developing joint approaches and an action plan for Crimea and the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean region and Black Sea".
