NATO members are going to Lviv to see what is happening
Representatives of the NATO military committee will arrive in Lviv to familiarize themselves with the current situation on Thursday, April 19, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced by the head of the Ukrainian mission to NATO Vadim Prystaiko.
“Tomorrow begins a visit to Lvov by the NATO military committee, which includes military representatives. They came to Ukraine specifically to see what was happening,” Prystaiko said on Channel 5.
In this context, the diplomat emphasized that Ukraine’s interaction with the Alliance was not affected in light of the blockade by Hungary.
“Political meetings are not taking place yet. But we hope that before the July NATO summit we will be able to unblock this situation, because the president has already been invited... NATO is a specific organization that makes military decisions... Any summit will end with a military decision,” said V. Prystaiko.
Let us remind you that the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO commission, which was supposed to take place on February 14 or 15 during a meeting of the defense ministers of all member countries of the Alliance, was blocked by Hungary, which used the right of veto.
