Today, marines and naval aviators of the Ukrainian Navy conducted training jumps from the An-26 as part of the multinational exercise “Agile Spirit-2017”, which is taking place in Georgia at the Orfolo training ground.

This was reported by the press service of a separate marine brigade of the Ukrainian Navy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The air assault platoon performed training parachute jumps while landing in mountainous terrain. Landing of personnel of Marine Corps units that are part of multinational battalions is one of the tasks that will be included in the final phase of all training,” the message says.
The training will last until September 11, for the participation of marines and naval aviation of the Ukrainian Navy in the event, the aim is to practice joint actions with units of NATO member countries and partner countries, increase field and air training in a multinational environment, and the purpose of the training itself is to strengthen interaction between military personnel of the Alliance and partner countries.
