Navalnists were placed under house arrest on the eve of new announced unrest
The Tverskoy Court of Moscow placed under house arrest the brother of opposition blogger Alexei Navalny Oleg, lawyer Lyubov Sobol, Navalny's ophthalmologist Anastasia Vasilyeva, member of the Pussy Riot group Maria Alyokhina and coordinator of the Moscow headquarters of the oppositionist Oleg Stepanov.

They were arrested on charges of violating sanitary and epidemiological standards at an unauthorized rally in support of the politician on January 23. The arrest will last until March 23.
During the announcement of the court's decision, Sobol demonstratively read Aldous Huxley's dystopia.
According to the investigation, due to calls for rallies, healthy and coronavirus-sick citizens created a threat of mass infection. Punishment for actions that led to mass disease can be imprisonment for up to two years.
Moscow authorities said that 19 people with coronavirus came to the rally in support of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
On Sunday, Navalny's headquarters announced new unauthorized actions.
