Navalny will be deprived of Russian citizenship and sent to Europe to receive the Nobel Peace Prize - Belkovsky
Opposition blogger Alexei Navalny may be deprived of Russian citizenship and deported to Western Europe.
Liberal Russian political scientist Stanislav Belkovsky said this on the YouTube channel VlastvsVlashchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to give him the Nobel Peace Prize and send him home – to Western Europe. But this requires a legal basis when he is in prison. How to release it? This has already been proposed by Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov, a famous film director. He proposed taking away Russian citizenship from people who advocate sanctions.
And we can note that Dmitry Sergeevich Peskov, Putin's press secretary, who usually says that this is not a matter for the state, for the first time in many years said that this is interesting and deserves consideration. This means that the Kremlin is already considering this, and Mikhalkov voiced not only his private point of view.
They can take away your Russian passport and send you to Western Europe. If at the same time he received the Nobel Prize, it would be absolutely fair: to exchange power for a prize. Yulia Navalnaya may be preparing the ground for this,” Belkovsky said.
