Navalny will have to fork out for gasoline for the security forces
Russian security forces filed a lawsuit against the organizers of the protests that took place in Moscow on July 27 and August 3.
Kommersant reports this, citing the materials at its disposal.
The Central Internal Affairs Directorate and the Moscow prosecutor's office (in the interests of the Russian National Guard) demand that Alexey Navalny and his supporters, as organizers of unauthorized actions, reimburse expenses for compensation for employees working on weekends, as well as the cost of fuel for special vehicles. In total, we are talking about more than 15 million rubles.
Lawsuits from security forces against oppositionists were filed in the Simonovsky and Cheryomushkinsky courts in September. We are talking about 4,2 and 6 million rubles, respectively, the first trials on the claims will be held on December 4 and 5.
The Moscow prosecutor's office filed a similar claim in the interests of the Russian Guard for 4,9 million rubles, the hearing is scheduled for December 9. We are mainly talking about damage due to compensation payments and provision of time off to personnel (for after-hours work on weekends), but expenses on gasoline and diesel fuel for special vehicles are also taken into account.
