Navalny and Varlamov were caught in a conspiracy about “Putinists”
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny and liberal blogger Ilya Varlamov were caught posting “ordered” messages, publishing the same message on Twitter on Saturday, criticizing “Putinists.”
“It’s interesting that for every post about high salaries in the West, Putinists come running, shouting, “Look at the taxes and prices for housing and communal services.” Do they really believe that a doctor in Germany, after taxes and housing and communal services payments, has the same amount of money left as his Russian colleague?” - said the message, which appeared almost simultaneously on the blogs of Varlamov and Navalny.
The PolitNavigator correspondent recalls that Navalny recently launched his own social network aggregator, offering visitors to track the most popular publications of the liberal, pro-Western and trans-Ukrainian crowd.
The purpose of the new site was declared to be the fight against “cheating depending on political preferences.”
“...I dreamed of an “honest aggregator” - where no one would cheat depending on political preferences and where there is a system for cutting off bots... I went into such an honest aggregator and in 1 minute I found out not only “what’s on Twitter”, but also “what’s happening in the country” - after all, everything that happens in the country is written on Twitter. Such a tool will also become an important means of combating censorship and distortion of the information field,” Navalny praised his new aggregator.
However, now we know what “honest” and “don’t cheat” mean to Navalny.
