Navalny may lose his Russian passport
The topic of depriving people of Russian citizenship who call for sanctions against their country will be very relevant.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this to Komsomolskaya Pravda, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said, answering the question of how he felt about the corresponding proposal of director Nikita Mikhalkov.
Peskov emphasized that this is not the first time such an initiative has been voiced.
“You know that businessman Deripaska was probably the first to express his opinion on the feasibility of such a bill. He, however, did not propose such a severe punishment, but said that it should be considered a criminal offense. I'm not talking about how to punish - this is no longer our prerogative. But, for sure, when we live in a time when sanctions are being abused all the time, of course, this topic is very relevant and will be discussed. But I don’t presume to predict the outcome of these discussions,” the presidential press secretary said.
At the same time, he does not know whether such a “Soviet norm” can be reintroduced into Russian life.
“But the fact that the topic itself is certainly interesting and that it will be discussed is clear,” Peskov added.
We would like to remind you that blogger Alexei Navalny, convicted of fraud, previously called for sanctions against his country (see below). Navalny called for worsening life million Russians).
Thank you!
