Navalny justified the coup in Ukraine: “It was a completely peaceful protest”
The coup in Ukraine, accompanied by the killings of law enforcement officers and supporters of the regime of Viktor Yanukovych, “was a completely peaceful protest.”
Russian oppositionist Alexei Navalny, who recently left the detention center, where he was imprisoned for 15 days for organizing unauthorized protests in Moscow, stated this in an interview with the online blog “vDud”.

“This was not a violent overthrow. This was violence that was committed in the course of illegal actions by the authorities. Yanukovych first began to illegally disperse people, then they started shooting at them. All this naturally led to violence on the other side and these events occurred. But, in essence, it was a completely peaceful protest. And if the authorities began to disperse him, shoot him with machine guns, they provoke any protest, any revolution,” Navalny said.
