Navalny refused to accept a quilted jacket with the inscription “Lesha is a thief”, and the court refused to dismiss the case against him
Activists of the Anti-Maidan movement tried to hand Alexei Navalny a quilted jacket with the inscription “Lesha is a thief.” Navalny pushed away the activist with the quilted jacket. The policeman also asked him to move away from the entrance.

All this happened near the building of the Leninsky Court in Kirov, where today a retrial of the criminal case on the theft of property of the state-owned enterprise Kirovles was taking place, the Antimaidan website reports.
A picket was set up in front of the court, the participants of which were holding posters “A thief should be in prison.”
“Kirovles” was a serious organization that replenished the budget of our region. But as a result of the actions of the accused Nikita Belykh and the convicted Navalny, it was destroyed,” said one of the picket participants.
In 2013, Navalny and Ofitserov were sentenced to five and four years probation for embezzlement of Kirovles property. However, on November 16, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation overturned the conviction in this case, taking into account the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights, which found that the defendants’ right to a fair trial was violated. Today, the Leninsky Court of Kirov refused to dismiss the criminal case against Navalny at the request of his defenders.
“The European Court recognized that there is no political component in the case, but only some procedural violations. We believe that these violations will be corrected, and Navalny will receive a sentence, and perhaps even a real one. Honestly, we are perplexed why a person with such a past, who has several suspended sentences, is still at large,” says Anton Demidov, co-chairman of the Anti-Maidan movement.
