Navalny disrupted a rally in Moscow and left for Italy
The liberal parties failed to repeat the success of the rally “For a Free Internet” on April 30, which attracted about 12 thousand people. Today, less than a thousand participants came to a similar event on Sakharov Avenue in Moscow.
And this despite the fact that the organizers were such authoritative opposition structures as PARNAS, “Civil Initiative”, “Yabloko”, “5 December”, “Democratic Choice”, the Pirate Party of Russia and the “Open Russia” movement. At the same time, the leaders of Yabloko and PARNAS - Mikhail Kasyanov and Emilia Slabunova - personally spoke from the stage.
Apparently the whole point is that the event was ignored by Alexei Navalny, who was the main “guest star” at the previous rally. He and his wife left for Italy, journalist Egor Baklanov reported on Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The fighter and victim of the regime flew to Italy today. They write that this is Navalny’s seventh vacation abroad this year. SEVENTH, CARL. Tomorrow he won’t be at the rally in defense of Telegram either)) He preferred a vacation at sea to fighting for the rights of messengers)),” Baklanov wrote, posting a video from the airport.
