After Navalny takes people out into the streets, anyone can lead the crowd. Dean of the Faculty of Political Science at Moscow State University Andrei Shutov announced this at the seminar “The Future of Russia”, which was held in Sevastopol by the Expert Institute of Social Research (EIS).
“Previously, leaders provided content, content, and only after that brought out those interested. Now there is a different technology. First display, and then provide content. This is very dangerous because a person on the street is already subject to the laws of the crowd. In this context, a leader can emerge at lightning speed. Light it up with a phrase - and go ahead. Where and how is a very big problem,” Shutov said.

“Based on the analysis of online content, it was established that the formation of messages was associated with part of the Russian blogosphere. An ideological scheme was developed when Navalny paradoxically integrated into both the liberal and nationalist agendas. Behind this were certain centers created at American universities. These technologies continue to operate today,” Chikharev said.
